ePad-ink, LCD based interactive signature capture device easily integrates handwritten signatures into electronic documents and transactions. With increasing emphasis on legal paperless transactions, the ePad-ink is ideal for capturing legal electronic signatures (per ESIGN and UETA) in any customer facing situation in insurance, banking, government, medical and retail point of sale applications, and ID cards.
ePad-ink allows for an intuitive way to capture a visually accurate signature and display other ceremonial information (name, time, date, intent, etc.) and bind this information to the document or transaction. In addition to real time visual feed back, as seen in high end retail stores, the ePad-ink captures the biometric information (X, Y, time and pressure) associated with the individual signature. The biometric capability along with a unique electronic serial number associated with each ePad-ink will ensure the integrity of the electronic signatures.
